PROduction + Performance Skills
PROPS is a small but thriving Theatre School based in Colwyn Bay near Llandudno, Conwy in North Wales offering a full range of activities. It covers:
- Drama
- Musical Theatre
- Nationally Accredited Qualifications (L.A.M.D.A.)
- Stage and Film
- Theatre Skills
- Film Production
- Vocational Theatre Course
All PROPS activities and classes are student centred and linked specifically as appropriate to all stages of the National Curriculum. L.A.M.D.A courses lead to Nationally Accredited Qualifications up to Level 5 (diplomas). PROPS is a RADA centre for the Shakespeare Certificate. Full Time Props Vocational Course for students age 16+. PROPS is a part of Anvil Theatre Productions.

Our Aims and Objectives
- to make available techniques, facilities and materials that encourage people of all ages to develop a sense of professionalism at the same time as their own skills, interests, ideas and opinions.
- to develop an appreciation of the performing arts.
- to encourage individuals to :
- express themselves in an appropriate way with each other, with an audience and within workshops, seminars etc..
- recognise their own contributions in a variety of contexts, demonstrate self confidence and reflect on what they have achieved.
- appreciate and respect the work of others.
- take an active part in the life of their community.
- to nurture and encourage people who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts with a realistic, structured and planned approach which is right for them.
PROPS Theatre School offers:
- WORK EXPERIENCE to young people from all the local schools and colleges
- continues to develop and forge valuable links with industry based organisations and establishments across the country including theatres, casting agencies, film & television companies.
- is now recognised as a Theatre School which has trained successful professional actors - see CastingCallPro website
- welcomes INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
